Petra also lives in Rabat with her parents and brother though not for long -- she has plans of moving overseas soon. As a student of tourism at Malta’s university, Petra spends three days in classes and two days in a hotel training. Moro, her boyfriend, is also studying tourism (though he is working in a travel agency) and the two of them are planning to move to Toronto, Canada next year together. One day in the future, Petra dreams of retiring on Gozo (a smaller quieter island that is also part of Malta) but for now, she is ready to travel and see more of the world.

Danielle Grima and Petra Buhagiar were part of the two-person team “cchamps” during the Junior Summit and were very active participants in the war and peace topic group. Danielle is now on her way to being a lawyer; as a second year student at the University of Malta, she is taking classes in family law and human rights, and is hoping to create a career of those interests. Classes at University take up most of Danielle’s time, but we also got to hear about her new hobby of painting glass, which she plans to spend the summer doing. Danielle lives in the city of Rabat on Malta with her parents.
